SEMO Gymnastics

The SEMO Women's Gymnastics team were the victors in Friday nights meet against Southern Utah & Centenary. I was surprised at the turnout and how good the gymnists actually are. Congrats on the big win and I plan on going to more meets in the future.

Fun In The Snow

3 days of no school due to an ice/snow storm means... PLAYING IN THE SNOW!!

Cold Ass Cape!

Today marks the beginning of something that could be a great thing or could be a disaster. Tonight and tomorrow we are expecting either an ICE STORM that would cover everything with at least an inch of ice or a shit load of SNOW consisting of at least 5-10 inches by tomorrow morning. Just a couple of hours ago, it was already looking bad because it started to rain (we all know that rain and sub-freezing temperatures do not mix very well). The reason it would such a good thing would be that there is a good chance that school will be cancelled and we would all have several days off. =) The bad side would be that it is highly dangerous driving and even walking in such weather. There could easily be a car accident or even a nasty spill.. neither are any fun. =/ I'm hoping and praying that we get out of school but im also doing the same to keep everyone safe during these circumstances. Gone.

Over It

It feels good to finally move on.
We had a good run.
It's a shame it didn't go as planned.
I wish you only the best.

I Got That HEAT From The Streets!

Being warm is no longer an issue in my room.

Before winter break I had to dress like this:

Now that I've invested in a SPACE HEATER:

I've been able to dress like this in my room:

Big thanks to technology for coming up with such a brilliant piece of machinery and thanks to my moms for getting me this thang. You're the best! =)

Studying Overseas

Today I did a lot of thinking.. and I came with the idea of studying abroad for my last semester at SEMO. It didn't take much to figure out where I wanted to go. SOUTH KOREA! I went to see a few people and asked a bunch of questions regarding this whole ordeal. I met with a guy at the international center building and best believe he was informative! Here's how it all plays out:

1. The housing cost for the entire semester will be paid for through my football scholarship.
2. The cost of the flight will be to a minimum. $950 Flight - $850 (paid for through scholarship) = $100 flight!
3. Speaking & teaching English to Korean children will earn me $650/per month.
4. Being there for 6 months will guarantee me to be fluent in the language.
5. An experience of a lifetime that will end up being a pretty sweet deal.

I'm basically getting paid to visit and take college courses in a country that is very much foreign to me. My mother was born and raised in South Korea, moved to the US when she was 17 years old and is damn near a white woman now. LOL. I've never been there before and come Spring Semester of 2010, I'll be gone from January til about June. And when I get back, I'll be graduating from SEMO! It's all in the works.. hope it all goes as planned. =)

Here is a list of things that I enjoyed when being on winter break:

- Seeing all the family. Love all y'all!

- Seeing all of my friends. I miss you guys already!

- Meeting new friends (both friends of $b's or random friends that are DOPE! =p)

- Power Hour wit the boys! 10 beers in 60 min. Crazy!

- Clubbing in the City two nights in a row with some awesome gals!

- Being my mom's personal mover. It aint no thang!

- Getting the chance to kick it with Dad. Priceless. Do the right thing!

- Overall, realizing there is no place like home and cherishing every moment.

Following a radom list of things are random pictures during break! Enjoy!
